Former Clemson Tigersā quarterback Tajh Boyd is one of the more interesting prospects in this yearās draft. Once viewed as a potential first round pick, he has seen his stock take a tumble.
That doesnāt mean there arenāt plenty of teams showing interest in Boyd.
According to a source of Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports, Boyd has had private workouts with the Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, New York Jets, St. Louis Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Panthers and Patriots are obviously set at quarterback now, but the Patriots have been looking for a a player to groom behind Tom Brady.
The Rams still have faith in former top overall pick Sam Bradford but could be interested in adding competition. Both the Buccaneers and Jets are not sure if they have a legitimate starter on their roster yet.
The Minnesota Vikings have also shown interest in Boyd. Vikingsā offensive coordinator Norv Turner is reportedly āintriguedā by Boyd.
Boyd completed 283 of 413 passes for 3,851 yards with 34 touchdowns and 11 interceptions last season.
