Earlier last week it was reported that the Minnesota Vikings we skipping their chance to visit with UCF quarterback and top 10 pick Blake Bortles, which spawned rumors that the team was not interested drafting him.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, this was a misconception.
Clearing up a misconception that #Vikings didn’t meet with Blake Bortles. They did, but not in MN. Team had dinner with Blake & his parents

So not only did the Vikings indeed meet with Bortles, but they went to him and not the other way around. Aside from that, they also met with his parents which is another clear indicator that there is interest in Bortles. The question is, will be even be available for the Vikings when they go on the clock at No. 8 overall, as many are projecting Bortles to be taken earlier.
Either way, there indeed seems to be interest from the Vikings and even if they don’t have him at the top of their board, he’s at least on there which is not was the perception was last week.
