The Brooklyn Nets got the series split they desired, winning game 1 over the Toronto Raptors on Saturday afternoon. They were defeated in game 2 Tuesday night, but they still are back home with a chance to take a commanding 3-1 lead if they could hold serve at the Barclays Center.
Of course, there is a reason that Toronto Raptors finished ahead of the Nets, won the Atlantic Division and why they had home court advantage in this series to begin with ā they had a very successful season.
They have done a good job of building an all-around their team, but their strength is in their back court with point guard Kyle Lowry, who should have been an All-Star, and shooting guard DeMar DeRozan, who was an All-Star.
In Friday nightās game 3, the Raptors received a bit of a scare when DeRozan collided with Netsā forward Andray Blatche and both were slow to get up.
