NFL training camps are still a few months away, but we are drawing closer to an announcement for what team will be appearing on this year’s edition of HBO’s “Hard Knocks.”

The series has become a favorite among NFL fans as they get a look behind-the-scenes of their favorite NFL team, and it is being reported that a decision on which team will be featured this year is coming soon.

“There are several clubs that are interested in doing this,” NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said, via Adam L. Jahns of the Chicago Sun-Times.  “I just don’t have an update on which club, whether it’s going to be a volunteer or if it’s somebody who is going to have to fulfill the obligation.  But I’m sure that decision will be made pretty soon.”

This year, there are eight teams eligible to be on the show, and if they are picked they will be unable to turn the gig down.

The teams being considered are the Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, Arizona Cardinals, New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars, Oakland Raiders, St. Louis Rams, and Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Bears have some interesting personalities in Brandon Marshall and Martellus Bennett, so they would be an intriguing team to watch, while the Arizona Cardinals would give us an up-close look at one of the hot teams in the league.
