āThere areĀ several clubs that are interested in doing this,ā NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said, via Adam L. Jahns of theĀ Chicago Sun-Times.Ā āI just donāt have an update on which club, whether itās going to be a volunteer or if itās somebody who is going to have to fulfill the obligation.Ā But Iām sure that decision will be made pretty soon.ā
This year, there are eight teams eligible to be on the show, and if they are picked they will be unable to turn the gig down.
The teams being considered are the BuffaloĀ Bills, Chicago Bears, Arizona Cardinals, New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars, Oakland Raiders, St. Louis Rams, and Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Bears have some interesting personalities in Brandon Marshall and Martellus Bennett, so they would be an intriguing team to watch, while the Arizona Cardinals would give us an up-close look at one of the hot teams in the league.
