The New York Giants own the 12th overall pick of the first round in next month’s draft and even though they were busy in free agency, they still have plenty of holes and there are a number of different ways they could go with that first round pick.
Although the Giants selected Syracuse Orange offensive tackle Justin Pugh with the 19th overall pick in the first round last year, that doesn’t mean they won’t be adding another tackle to their line early in this year’s draft.
That tackle could be former Michigan Wolverines’ star Taylor Lewan.
According to Tony Pauline of Draft Insider, Lewan visited the Giants Friday.
If the Giants do indeed go with the 6’7, 309-pound Lewan (or another player they view as a left tackle), they could move current left tackle William Beatty to the right side and slide Pugh inside to guard.
