Report: Donald Sterling’s girlfriend won’t cooperate with NBA

Minutes after Adam Silver addressed the Memphis media in regards to the Donald Sterling matter, TMZ released new information pertaining to the issue, this time revolving around Sterling’s girlfriend. According to the online publication, Sterling’s girlfriend will not cooperate with the NBA.

"A rep from the law office representing V. Stiviano tells TMZ … they heard NBA Commissioner Adam Silver state his intention to interview Stiviano, but that’s not going to happen right now. This case continues to get weird. With Sterling’s girlfriend not wanting to cooperate with Adam Silver and company due the implications it could have on a current case, it makes you wonder what her true intentions were when she relinquished the audio to TMZ. If Sterling’s racism was the focus of the tape, wouldn’t her complying with the league be a given?

Regardless, this keeps getting weird. Adam Silver said the league will attempt to find a conclusion and penalty for Sterling in the next few days. They have a case against the Los Angeles Clippers’ owner with or without the lady’s help, but if she chooses to speak out against he ex-boyfriend, it’ll make things much easier for the NBA.
