We have heard a lot of people react to the heinous, racist comments allegedly made by Los Angeles Clipper s owner Donald Sterling, however the one person associated with the league that we have not heard from yet is the greatest player to step on the court, Michael Jordan.
Prior to the Charlotte Bobcats’ game with the Miami Heat on Saturday, he was declining to comment, however now he’s changing his mind and stepping up to the plate.
On Sunday, Jordan issued a few words about the whole ordeal, and just like everyone else, he is not happy that this type of behavior is occurring.
Michael Jordan: "I am appalled that this type of ignorance still exists within our country and at the highest levels of our sport."

Jordan: "In a league where the majority of players are African-American, we cannot and must not tolerate discrimination at any level.”

Michael Jordan: "As an owner, I’m obviously disgusted that a fellow team owner could hold such sickening and offensive views."

Again, this is the one person that people were specifically looking toward to take a public stand and were disappointed when he initially didn’t.
When you send Michael Jordan into a public outrage, who generally keeps to himself these days, you know you did something wrong, Mr. Sterling.
