Heading into Monday night’s game against the Miami Heat, the Charlotte Bobcats are already in an immense hole as a result of a 3-0 series deficit, but now, things have gotten even uglier for the heavy underdogs as their best player, Al Jefferson, has been listed as doubtful to play in Game 4.

After being a 20-10 guy throughout the season, Jefferson has “struggled” a bit (19 points per game) in the series as a result of an injured plantar fascia in his foot, and that is the reason for this listing prior to the game. Rick Bonnell from the Charlotte Observer would also go on to provide some quotes from Jefferson on Monday morning.

That sounds very much like a player who won’t be taking the floor against the Heat on Monday night, and if he can’t go, the Bobcats will be playing shorthanded with the likes of Bismack Biyombo, Cody Zeller and Josh McRoberts seeing increased roles. Stay tuned.
