It hasn’t been an easy couple of years for the Tennessee Titans.

In Bernard Pollard’s first year with the Titans, they opened the season 3-1 but finished 7-9.

“We have been a team where we have sucked butt. And I’m just being perfectly honest with you. We have sucked butt, and it’s time for us to turn that corner. Like I said last year and this year, we’re gonna knock the piss out of you. It’s gonna be fair. It’s gonna be within the lines – I may get one outside the lines or whatever – but that’s just who I am and that’s just who we are. It’s going to be a lot of fun doing it,” Pollard told Terry McCormick of Titans Insider.

Pollard believes the Titans can turn things around under Ken Whisenhunt.

“Right now, it’s time to move forward. We can’t look back at anybody because they’re gone. The guys that are in this locker room – I think there are 60-something guys. – they’re gonna bring a couple more in here, about 20 more through the draft, free agency and whatever else.”

The 29-year old Pollard made 99 tackles and three interceptions last season.
