On Tuesday afternoon, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver gave a press conference addressing the alleged racist remarks from Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling. During the conference Silver, in his first test since taking the job, has decided to ban Sterling for life from any association with the Clippers organization and the NBA. Sterling may not attend any NBA games or practices, and may not attend any Clippers facilities.

Silver fined Sterling $2.5 million and said the money would be donated to a cause fighting racism and hate.
