2014 NFL Mock Draft: 7-round Arizona Cardinals mock draft

The 2014 NFL Draft is just one week away, which means we will be going through our final look at each team’s draft preparations by filling out seven-round mock drafts for every team around the league.

We will be going in alphabetical order throughout the next week, so first up is the Arizona Cardinals.

The Cardinals could go a number of ways with their first-round pick and they become even more intriguing if one of the top quarterbacks slides to their pick, but in this mock we attempted to fill the team’s needs by looking to fill their priority needs and not taking any luxury picks.

Arizona does find a quarterback of the future in the mock, while adding quality defenders and one very talented tight end that would be in the first-round discussion if it were not for his troubles off of the field.

Here is how the seven-round mock draft for the Arizona Cardinals played out:

  1. Ryan Shazier, outside linebacker, Ohio State
  2. Deone Bucannon, safety, Washington State
  3. Tom Savage, quarterback, Pittsburgh
  4. Seantrel Henderson, offensive tackle, Miami
  5. Khairi Fortt, inside linebacker, California
  6. Colt Lyerla, tight end, Oregon
