Duplicating a feat the Indiana Pacers accomplished earlier in the night by defeating the Atlanta Hawks on the road to force a game 7, the Oklahoma City Thunder dominated the Memphis Grizzlies for a 104-84 victory, forcing a game 7.

On the day he was insulted by his hometown newspaper, Kevin Durant had to be at this best and he was absolutely fantastic. Durant scored 36 points on 11-of-23 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds.

Russell Westbrook scored 13 of his 25 points in the third quarter and added nine rebounds, five assists and three steals while Reggie Jackson had 16 points and five rebounds.

Marc Gasol led the Grizzlies with 17 points, Zach Randolph added 16 points and eight rebounds and James Johnson chipped in 15 points off of the bench.

Overall, the Thunder did a good job of keeping the Grizzlies away from the basket, largely in part to five blocks from rookie Steven Adams.

The Thunder raced out to the early advantage take an eight-point first quarter lead, then continued to roll on offense in the second quarter to take a 56-41 lead into the break.

Game 7 from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is Saturday.
