
It seems as if the toughest transition that Michael Vick is having with the New York Jets has nothing to do with any sort of offensive game plan, rather it’s what number will be on his uniform when he does take the field with his new team.
With second-year quarterback Geno Smith already occupying the number seven, Vick announced last week that he would be donning number eight for his new team. Well, after a short trial period, the NFL vet decided that he didn’t like the look of eight, and instead will be wearing number one.

Hey, you know what some say: You can’t play good on the field if you don’t feel good, and Vick obviously wasn’t comfortable with 8.
Now though, we’ll have to see if the number one on the jersey will also signify his place on the QB depth chart.
