The Toronto Raptors are playing host to the Brooklyn Nets in the fourth Game 7 in less than 24 hours.
The Raptors fell behind by double digits as DeMar DeRozan got off to a very poor start and began crawling their way back into the game during the third quarter. They cut the lead to 69-63, finally slowing the Nets’ offense, which is something they have failed to do for most of the afternoon.
After cutting the lead to six, Nets’ guard Joe Johnson got the ball on the wing and went one on one with Raptors’ swingman Terrence Ross. Johnson dribbled around Ross and headed for the basket, but he was stopped when Ross grabbed him from behind. The two got tangled up as Ross held on to Johnson and Johnson showed his frustration with the ball. He looked upset about the foul and Ross walked towards Johnson, presumably to confront him. Both teams got into a huddle with each other, but cooler heads prevailed and ultimately nothing really came of the altercation.
