Former Indiana Hoosiers wide receiver Cody Latimer has proven during this NFL Draft process that no matter where you played your college football, you can still wow the NFL scouts with great workouts and interviews, which he has certainly done. Throughout this whole process, Latimer vaulted himself into first round discussions, and now weāre learning a bit more about where he can land come Thursday.
In a post onĀ NFL.com on Tuesday, Latimer expressed to them that three teams are showing the most interest in acquiring his servicesāthe Philadelphia Eagles, Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens.
"TheĀ Philadelphia Eagles,Ā Carolina PanthersĀ andĀ Baltimore RavensĀ have shown the most pre-draft interest inĀ Cody Latimer, one of the NFL draftās fastest risers, the former Indiana wide receiver told College Football 24/7 Tuesday."
All three of these teams make great sense as potential homes for the former Big Ten star.
Losing DeSean Jackson recently, the Eagles are definitely in the market for a pass-catching threat, and after dumping nearly their entire receiving corps, the Panthers should not even be thinking about drafting another position when their number is called in round one.
And of course, even with the addition of Steve Smith, Joe Flacco and the Ravens offense could always use some more help in the passing game, and Latimer could fit that bill.
