Although former Alabama Crimson Tide defensive back Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is widely considered the best safety in the draft, former Louisville Cardinals safety Calvin Pryor isn’t far behind and there are many who believe Pryor could wind up being the superior player in the NFL.

The New York Jets could be one of those teams.

The Jets, according to Bart Hubbuch of The New York Post, are very interested in Pryor and could wind up drafting him.

At the NFL Scouting Combine, Pryor measured in at 5’11 and 207 pounds and is considered a mid first round pick.

The Packers are very interested in taking Pryor with the 21st overall pick while many believe he would be a good fit for the Chicago Bears.

Pryor made 75 tackles, picked off three passes and forced two fumbles for the Cardinals last season.
