The Houston Texans are still trying to sort out what they’ll do with their No. 1 overall pick on Thursday night in the 2014 NFL Draft. They could go for the best player on the board, or they could be tempted to take a quarterback not necessarily worthy of being the No. 1 overall pick in an attempt to strengthen a position of need.

According to ESPN’s Adam Caplan and comments he made on NFL Insiders Tuesday, Texans owner Bob McNair “loves” Johnny Manziel. All those people who spent all that money on billboards in Houston to pressure them into taking Manziel have to be elated, but wait, there is a catch.

McNair said he’d leave the decision on who to take with that No. 1 pick to the coaching staff.
