Driveclub trailer details how to upgrade PlayStation Plus Edition (Video)

There’s a video available over on the PlayStation Blog that talks about the difference between the PlayStation Plus Edition and Blu-ray version of Driveclub. This will be the first video of three from developer Evolution Studios about the game.

The main thing to know is that with an active PlayStation Plus subscription, you can download Driveclub PlayStation Plus Edition, which comes with one location (India), 11 tracks, 10 cars and access to all game modes.

This part of the game is free to subscribers of PlayStation Plus.

Evolution Studios went this route, because in their words ” It’s about accessibility for all and building a community of gamers who love online play. Driveclub PlayStation Plus Edition is designed to be a quick and easy way for gamers all over the world to join the Driveclub community.”

They believe people enjoy playing Driveclub when it releases on October 7th, digitally via the PlayStation Store and on Blu-ray at your local retailer.

If you’re an active PlayStation Plus subscriber and have been playing the PlayStation Plus Edition, but want the full Driveclub experience, you can purchase a one-time upgrade for $49.99. This gives you access to all five locations, 55 tracks, 50 cars and all 50 tour events, as long as you have an active PlayStation Plus subscription.

If you don’t have one that’s active, Driveclub can still be purchased from the PlayStation Store or your local retailer on Blu-ray. There will be information about Driveclub coming out later in the week about clubs and challenges.

This is the type of racing game, where it seems like you can have plenty of fun playing with friends. You can leave a comment below with your thoughts about Driveclub and if you plan to pick it up.
