The fine line between sports and entertainment continues to dwindle.
This year at the 2014 NFL Draft, all invitees have been allowed to pick their own “walk-up” music to play when their name is called in the draft.
Because everyone knows you can’t have a good at-bat in MLB, and you certainly can’t start your NFL career without your own soundtrack.
And, of course, the one player who everyone wanted to know the choice of tune – none other than Johnny Manziel.
Because you can’t have an NFL Draft story this year without Johnny Football.
His choice, hip-hop artist Drake’s “Draft Day”
It can only be assumed that the NFL will go with the clean version of Drake’s hit, as the uncensored version is laced with adult language and racial epithets (although it does contain a shout-out to Manziel as well).
Manziel, who has had ties to Drake in the past (see above photo) and hinted that the artist would be present at the draft, was reportedly disappointed he was denied the use of pyro and announcer Michael Buffer as part of his draft entrance.
