Trades are an integral part of the NFL Draft every year. The draft isn’t just a place where team executives in suits get together, eat free food and just pluck amateur players for the hell of it. No, the NFL Draft is the ultimate human chess match, and that’s where trades come in, and on Thursday when the 2014 edition of the NFL Draft gets underway, we’re going to be treated to watch another match play out before our eyes.

In the months leading up to Thursday nights event, the trade winds are swirling seemingly like never before. Some have considered this the deepest draft in some time, which makes the trade possibilities that much more intriguing.

Now of course, some of the talk is just flat out ridiculous, while other rumors actually hold some weight and make a lot of sense.

With that being said, here’s a few of the trades that should happen on Thursday.
