2014 NFL Draft: Trades the Kansas City Chiefs should make

In their first season under head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Alex Smith, the Kansas City Chiefs enjoyed some great success in 2013, entering the first round of the playoffs. Because of that success, Reid and the Chiefs management hold the 23rd overall pick on Thursday in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

Although they were successful last season, there is room for improvement which was evidenced by the huge lead they blew in the AFC Wild Card Playoff Game against the Indianapolis Colts. There are still some pieces that this team could put in place to make themselves even better, and that could start with a home run selection on Thursday.

But to swing for that home run, could the Chiefs be looking at a potential trade from that 23 spot?
