
The Minnesota Vikings were originally slated to pick with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, but they traded back one spot to pick up an extra fifth-round pick and occupy the No. 9 overall selection.
Once the team filed their pick to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, the Vikings went with edge rusher Anthony Barr of UCLA, who gives Mike Zimmer a quality pass rusher on his defense.
