The Jacksonville Jaguars hold the No. 3 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, and there has been some discussion about the team potentially adding a quarterback. However, according to the recent buzz, the team is prepared to bypass a signal-caller and focus on another area of need.

It comes as no real surprise, but ESPN’s Britt McHenry said on Thursday’s SportsCenter leading up to the draft that Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins and Buffalo pass rusher Khalil Mack are “in the mix” for the Jaguars at No. 3 overall.

These would be obvious choices for the team.

Jacksonville has been desperately searching for a pass rusher in recent years and they need to add some weapons to their offense in order for any quarterback to succeed.

In Watkins, the team would get the draft’s top wide receiver, while Mack is an athletic freak that is every bit as talented as Clowney and he may even have a higher ceiling.

We will have to wait and see exactly where the Jaguars go with their pick if they stay put, but we will be getting our answer in just a few hours.
