The 2014 NFL Draft was as advertised. It was a fascinating first-round on Thursday night with plenty of aggression and surprises throughout the night. As expected, the Houston Texans selected Jadeveon Clowney out of South Carolina with the No. 1 overall pick, while Johnny Manziel slid all the way down to No. 22 where the Cleveland Browns stopped his draft day plunge.

Cleveland was aggressive throughout the entire night, with a handful of trades that positioned them to land Manziel and Oklahoma State cornerback Justin Gilbert.

One of the most intriguing picks was Ju’Wuan James to the Miami Dolphins, but it is hard to knock the pick when your team needs help along the offensive line as badly as the folks in South Beach.
