The New Orleans Saints traded up to the No. 20 pick from the Arizona Cardinals. With that No. 20 pick the Saints drafted Oregon State wide receiver Brandin Cooks. That officially makes Saints quarterback Drew Brees the luckiest quarterback in the NFL and he will be paired opposite of wide receiver Kenny Stills.

It was a surprising pick, and many thought the Cardinals would’ve taken a quarterback but with Johnny Manziel and Teddy Bridgewater both on the board still they must’ve felt comfortable moving back.

Cooks was the fastest wide receiver in the draft and has a lot of potential with Brees throwing him the football. He’ll also have tight end Jimmy Graham taking some of the attention off of him.
