The Philadelphia Eagles were rumored to be interested in Johnny Manziel and while he ended up getting drafted at No. 22 overall, it was to the team the Eagles traded their pick to rather than Philly themselves. What this meant was the team had some more time to ponder who they wanted before settling on defensive end Marcus Smith.
With a slew of receivers still on the board, fans were a little puzzled that a defensive end was the pick and not Marqise Lee or Kelvin Benjamin.
