The Buffalo Bills traded up from the No. 9 overall pick to the No. 4 overall pick on Thursday and selected Sammy Watkins — a move that prompted them to trade wide receiver Stevie Johnson to the San Francisco 49ers on Friday morning. They then added to all of the chaos by trading the No. 41 overall pick to the St. Rams befroe finally settling in at No. 44 overall.

Ultimately, the Bills stayed at No. 44 overall and drafted Cyrus Kouandjio, an offensive tackle from Alabama.

Buffalo is showing a very clear preference to E.J. Manuel and a commitment to making him better in 2014. They added Watkins, acquired Mike Williams and have been working Robert Woods like crazy and now have added a big offensive lineman in Cyrus Kouandjio to protect Manuel while he chooses his targets.
