The Buffalo Bills ended up making the first big trade of the draft on Thursday as they moved up from the No. 9 overall spot to the No. 4 overall spot to take Sammy Watkins. They then traded Stevie Johnson to the San Francisco 49ers this morning, so to say that the Bills have been busy in the last 24 hours is an understatement.

Buffalo was back at it with the No. 41 overall pick and they ended up trading the No. 41 overall pick to the St. Louis Rams who had already made two selections in the first day of the draft.

After adding Greg Robinson and Aaron Donald in the first round on Thursday, the St, Louis Rams used their newly acquired No. 41 pick to draft cornerback Lamarcus Joyner.

The pick makes a lot of sense for the Rams as they needed cornerback help, and the emphasis on fitting in with the other stout NFC West defenses was put across with two of the Rams first three picks being on the defensive side of the ball.
