List of Houston Texans 2014 NFL Draft Picks
By Jack Crosby
The team with the most talk surrounding them coming into the NFL Draft this weekend was definitely the Houston Texans. After a bad year last season as the team was plagued with injuries, new head coach Bill O’Brien and GM Rick Smith were tasked with deciding what to do with the no. 1 overall pick.
Well, after fielding some trade offers, the team made the obvious move immediately of selecting defensive end Jadeveon Clowney to bookend J.J. Watt on their defensive line, creating one of the more destructive forces in the entire NFL more than likely.
And as for the rumors that the team would be taking a QB, well, they did with their selection of Tom Savage on Saturday.
Here’s a look at the complete list of the Texans’ picks from the weekend.
