The New England Patriots usually have an interesting draft and this one was definitely a bit less interesting. In the first round they went with Dominique Easley, a defensive tackle out of Florida. In the second round they drafted Eastern Illinois quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, making everyone wonder about those Ryan Mallet trade rumors were heard earlier in the week and if that is still on the table for the PAtriots.
