Michael Sam’s touching reaction to being drafted (Video)

Michael Sam not only made headlines as the SEC Defensive Player of the Year, but is the first openly gay player in National Football League history. Now I personally believe that you should be free to love and marry whoever you want no matter the gender. So I have no problem watching Sam play every Sunday. It doesn’t matter what your sexuality is – we’re all human beings.

Plus whenever you put on that uniform, you go from human being to warrior. This man has all the respect in the world by not only the gay community, but fans like myself who applaud him for loving and being open about who he is as a person.

ESPN had camera crews in selected homes for NFL prospects waiting for calls by either franchise owners or head coaches to let them know that they are prepared to draft them. This St. Louis Rams defense is going to be a force to be reckoned with in 2014 and beyond.
