The NFL Draft has come and gone and it’s now time to reflect on how each team did despite the fact that we won’t really know until much further into the future. Still, we can get a fell of how players might do in their immediate careers based off of what they did in college and how well they fit into the systems they were drafted into.

7.29Jeremy Gallon, WR , Michigan

Best Pick: Jimmy Garoppolo/QB/Eastern Illinois

This is a brilliant pick, as Belichick got the most interesting quarterback prospect, from a developmental loin tot view, in the class. All of the experts and draftniks were geeing out over Garoppolo and for good reason. He has strong mechanics and the tool set to be developed strongly. Plus, he idolizes Tom Brady so he’ll hang on his every word of advice.

Worst Pick: James White/RB/Wisconsin

I know Bill Belichick gets hot and bothered for running backs but it’s hard to see James White standing out too much in the backfield. There will no doubt be chances for him, but the fact of the matter is the Patriots used a fourth round pick on a guy they could have gotten in Silas Redd, who went undrafted. White isn’t a bad runner, he’s just nothing special which may end up being what the Patriots need to function their offense.
