The Carolina Panthers took a huge step in the right direction in 2013, finishing up the season at 12-4 and earning themselves a playoff berth. Although they were ousted in the first round by the 49ers, it was still a great sign for the organization that they had made it to that point, making everyone think that the Super Bowl might be right around the corner.

That road begins very soon as the team will begin their offseason workout programs, and here’s a look at the upcoming schedule for those workouts as the Panthers get set to make another playoff run.

OTA offseason workouts: May 27-29, June 3-5, June 9-12
Mandatory minicamp: June 17-19

While last year was a great year for the organization, the offseason hasn’t been nearly as kind to the team, which could put a damper on those hopes. Cam Newton underwent ankle surgery a short while ago, and the offense lost nearly all their receiving targets, including long-time team member Steve Smith.

So these offseason workouts are more pivotal than ever as the Panthers have a lot of work to do.
