The Detroit Lions had Super Bowl dreams coming into 2013, and rightfully so with one of the best offenses in the NFL. Well, things didn’t work out that way. The team stumbled their way to a 7-9 record, missing the playoffs completely, and after the season was over they fired head coach Jim Schwartz and went out and hired former Colts head coach Jim Caldwell.

Now with Caldwell running them, Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson, Ndamukong Suh and the rest of this Lions team will try this whole Super Bowl run things again, and that road starts with the offseason workouts coming up shortly.

Here’s a look at the schedule for the Lions’ offseason workouts this season.

OTA offseason workouts: May 20-22, May 27-29, June 2-5

Mandatory minicamp: June 10-12

Despite that record last year, a lot was blamed on Schwartz and his lack of control over the organization, so there is still a lot expected from this team in 2014. They even went out during the NFL Draft this weekend and got the offense even more help with the selection of North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron.
