2014 NBA Draft: Doug McDermott meets with Chicago Bulls, Atlanta Hawks & Minnesota Timberwolves
Former Creighton Blue Jays’ forward Doug McDermott was recognized as the best player in college basketball last season, winning the Naismith Award.
McDemott is likely going to follow that up by becoming a lottery pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.
According to Josh Robbins of The Orlando Sentinel, McDermott has already met with the Chicago Bulls, Atlanta Hawks and Minnesota Timberwolves.
McDermott will also meet with the Cleveland Cavaliers and he is looking forward to it, according to Mary Schmitt Boyer of The Cleveland Plain Dealer.
There have been questions about McDermott’s NBA career, but Draft Express ranks him as the 10th-best prospect in this year’s draft and currently projects him to go eighth-overall.
McDermott averaged 26.7 points and 7.0 rebounds per game last season.
