Kings at Blackhawks, Game 1 live stream: Watch NHL Playoffs online
By Josh Sanchez
The Western Conference Finals get underway on Sunday afternoon when the Los Angeles Kings travel to the United Center to take on the defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks in Game 1.
While the Blackhawks come in with the title of defending champs, they fully realize how dangerous the Kings can be and understand that you can never count them out.
“They’re playing really well right now so we’ve got to be focused on what they’ve been doing the last couple series,” Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook said, via ESPN.com. “They’re never out of a game or a series. If we get up, we have to step on their throats. If we’re down, we have to work like hell to get back.
“But at the end of the day we have to play our game and focus on what we’ve been doing well throughout the playoffs, get better at that and be the team that we can be.”
If the Blackhawks play their game, they should be able to dictate the pace and come away with a win in Game 1 for their home fans.
