Today is the day we all expected we’d get back when the season started as despite the drama, the near losses and the struggles, we have arrived at an Eastern Conference Finals showdown between the Indiana Pacers and the Miami Heat. It was starting to look like the series may be in jeopardy but the Pacers pulled it together and have found themselves in almost the same exact position as last year.
The only difference this year is that the Heat don’t own homecourt advantage — the Pacers do. It is yet to be seen ho much of a factor that will play in the series but so far it’s looking like the Heat are as unstoppable as ever and the Pacers can’t afford the slip-ups we’ve seen them make earlier in the postseason.
