When making the transition from college to your new team in the NFL, learning as much as you can about the various schemes and strategies is crucial. Unfortunately for former Washington Huskies running back Bishop Sankey, who was drafted in the second-round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans, a pretty dumb rule is preventing him from attending various organized team activities.

There is a rule that prohibit rookies from participating in workouts until their schools graduate, and Washington has a late graduation. Because of that he won’t be able to attend till the final two sessions and the Titans’ June 17-19 minicamp.

“He’ll be playing catch-up,” head coach Ken Whisenhunt said, via the Nashville Tennessean. “It will set him back for now, but it won’t affect him as we go through the preseason.”

Sankey was however able to participate in the Tians’ post-draft rookie minicamp, the rules allow for that.
