Donald Sterling has become the go-to punchline for everyone from late night comedians to SNL hosts to performers at awards shows.

Basically, everyone who is lazy and in need of a cheap laugh is going to the Donald Sterling well. Over and over. Shamelessly.

Speaking of shameless people, did you hear the one Secretary of State John Kerry uncorked at Yale graduation? SI’s Ben Reiter tweeted about it.

A lot of humiliating stuff has happened to Donald Sterling in the past few weeks. He’s been outed as a racist. He’s been made fun of for getting used by a gold digger. He’s been lambasted for his inept attempts at damage control.

And now he’s become a punchline for a lame politician trying to get a laugh out of graduates at Yale commencement. It doesn’t get any worse than that for Donald Sterling. He’s hit rock bottom.

Very few people know what it feels like to become a true pop culture punching bag like this. Sterling is now on the same level as Joe Paterno, Lindsay Lohan and Chris Brown.

Wow. That’s a motley crew.
