With all of the turmoil in the Memphis Grizzlies’ front office and a report that the Grizzlies could make a run at current Chicago Bulls’ head coach Tom Thibodeau, the future of current Grizzlies’ head coach Dave Joerger is up in the air.

If the Grizzlies completely clean house (and who knows what they will do at this point), Joerger could be out of a job as well.

According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, if Joerger and the Grizzlies do part ways, the Minnesota Timberwolves could quickly scoop up Joerger, who is a friend of team president Flip Saunders, to replace Rick Adelman, who retired at the end of the season.

Joerger was named Girrzlies’ head coach last year after the team fired Lionel Hollins, creating a bit of a firestorm.

Although the Grizzlies lost in the first round a year after advancing to the Western Conference Finals, Joerger did a fine job considering all of the injuries the Grizzlies battled through.
