Now that star power forward Kevin Love’s departure from the Minnesota Timberwolves seems inevitable, every team in the league will likely make a play for him.

Love is reportedly “intrigued” by playing for the Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors.

Love would obviously present a large upgrade for both teams and could make them into a legitimate title contender, but it is going to be hard for either team to get their hands on him.

According to Tim Kawakami of The San Jose Mercury News, the Warriors may not have enough trade chips to acquire Love unless the team is very high on David Lee.

"Minnesota has to consider Lee as VALUE, as something worthwhile to get back in return for any Love deal, not just as salary ballast. If Minnesota does not view Lee and his remaining $30.5 million over the next two years as VALUE . . . it would be difficult for the Warriors to get involved in this one.I’ll add that a third team could find value in Lee and jump in to help the Warriors make this trade, but I just don’t see where that would come from."

Love averaged 26.1 points, 12.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game this season.
