Peyton Manning is in a whole heap of trouble after getting busted for possession of cocaine and marijuana during a traffic stop in Nashville. Don’t worry though, ESPN is not about to explode with the power of a thousand Alderaans being blown to bits by a thousand Death Stars.
This is not THAT Peyton Manning.
This Peyton Manning happens to be an 18-year-old female. An 18-year-old female from Tennessee who was clearly named after the much more famous Peyton Manning.
She would have to be named after the more-famous Peyton Manning, right? Or it would be a hell of a coincidence.
Police say Peyton and a companion were nailed after their vehicle was searched and cops discovered cocaine in a drink cup as well as pot, a scale and a pill crusher. The couple’s phones were also searched and messages were found detailing their drug peddling.
Needless to say, we are not dealing with a Gustavo Fring-level operation here.
Young Peyton is going to be headed to the slammer for awhile, it looks like. It goes to show, just because you have a famous name, that does not guarantee you will be successful in life.
So people, stop naming your kids after famous folks. It’s not funny and it’s not cute. And it only guarantees that, somewhere down the road, your kid will end up being mentioned in a bunch of blog posts.
