Although the Boston Celtics appear to be a legitimate destination for Minnesota Timberwolves’ star power forward Kevin Love, the Celtics aren’t going to rush into anything.

Many expect the Celtics, who acquired future Hall-of-Famers Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett the last time they picked in the lottery, to make a big move quick.

However, as Baxter Holmes of The Boston Globe reports, that isn’t necessarily the case and they won’t be making any decisions until after they find out when they will be picking following Tuesday night’s draft lottery.

"If the pick falls that high, the Celtics could send it to Minnesota as part of a package for All-Star forward Kevin Love, according to reports.“Nothing has been discussed until we see the pick,” Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck told the Globe Monday night. “When we see what pick it is, the phones will start ringing and we’ll start answering the phones.”Grousbeck also said he doesn’t expect the Celtics to live up to the deal they made the last time they were a lottery team."

The Celtics do have several picks in the next few drafts, meaning they have to be regarded as a serious player for Love.
