The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms on a four-year deal with sixth round draft pick, quarterback Zach Mettenberger, according to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean.
Wyatt reports that the deal with the former LSU quarterback includes a signing bonus of $125,116, with Mettenberger receiving base salaries of $420,000 in 2014, $510,000 in 2015, $600,000 in 2016 and $690,000 in 2017.

Mettenberger is the third player from the Titans’ 2014 draft class to be signed to a deal, following two fourth round picks – defensive back Marqueston Huff and defensive lineman DaQuan Jones.
It’s not surprising that the Titans got Mettenberger signed early. He was impressive in his early mini-camp work, even still wearing the knee brace from his ACL surgery. Tennessee knows they got a late round bargain, and they’ll do what’s needed to keep in in-house and bring him along in their system.
