2014 NBA Draft Rumors: Agents steering Milwaukee Bucks away from Joel Embiid?
The Milwaukee Bucks certainly hoped to land the top-overall pick after finishing with the worst record in the NBA this season, but the Cleveland Cavaliers moved ahead of them and the Bucks will now be making the second-overall pick.

The Bucks still may be able to get their man depending on what the Cavaliers do. Many believe their man is former Kansas Jayhawks’ center Joel Embiid, but Embiid would reportedly prefer not to play for the Bucks.
According to Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders, agents are pushing the Bucks away from Embiid.
"Like most teams at the top, Milwaukee will gauge what their pick is worth, but sitting at number two isn’t a bad situation for Milwaukee. They had been planning for a top tier pick and with the second pick they still could end up with the player that was near the top of their board. The Bucks have had eyes for Embiid for most of the season, but it seems pretty clear that his agents are trying to steer him away from Milwaukee. That’s not going to stop the Bucks from doing their due diligence on him in the event that Cleveland passes."
Embiid doesn’t have to work out or go through medical tests for the Bucks so if he truly does not want to play there, he won’t even visit Milwaukee.
