The fiasco between the Memphis Grizzlies and Dave Joerger continues as the Grizzlies’ head coach continues to negotiate a possible move to the Minnesota Timberwolves as their new head coach.

A report has already been released on Joerger meeting with Timberwolves’ President of Operations Flip Saunders, but now it appears that Joerger will meet with Timberwolves’ owner Glen Taylor as well, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

"After meeting with Minnesota Timberwolves president Flip Saunders on Thursday, Memphis coach David Joerger is scheduled for a sit-down talk with owner Glen Taylor that could ultimately clear the way for him to become the Timberwolves coach, league sources told Yahoo Sports."

The Grizzlies still haven’t officially parted ways with Joerger after a number of changes occurred in the front office over the past week, however the team is looking to try and acquire compensation from the Timberwolves in exchange for the Minnesota native, which has ultimately stalled the move in some fashion.

Joerger is still under contract with Memphis for three seasons and after the Doc Rivers move to the Los Angeles Clippers last summer included a 2015 first rounder going to the Boston Celtics, the Grizzlies’ front office feel a second round compensation is appropriate.

Joerger’s meeting with the owner may persuade the Timberwolves to go through with the move with compensation included, however Minnesota could still try to stall the process to avoid losing any draft picks.
