Dinosaur scares young fan at New York Mets game (Video)

On Wednesday the New York Mets hosted ‘Dinosaur Education Day’ at Citi Field. Little did people know, it was also a day that was set aside to scare children.

Thanks to a video from the official Instagram page of the New York Mets, we have this video of a dinosaur, or presumably (hopefully) a human person in a dinosaur costume as he/she scares the heck out of thing young girl.
While the video below is certainly entertaining, I would be lying if I said I would not also be scared in that situation.
It would appear that the dinosaur also scared the guide or whomever the adult was here. Depending on your interpretation of the events as they unfold, it looks an awful lot like the guide wanted the kid to protect her from the dinosaur and not the other way around.
This is not the first time this season that fans have been treated to the entertaining, if not slightly odd, visual of a realistic-looking dinosaur on the field: a dinosaur “threw” the ceremonial first pitch at Petco Park in San Diego earlier this season.
Fun fact: a dinosaur on the field scaring children is still far from the most unsettling sight at Citi Field this week. On Tuesday Mets fans were subjected to the most unfortunate, if not comical, ceremonial first pitch thrown by 50 Cent. Then on Wednesday, any fans in attendance transitioned from dinosaurs to the spectacle that is Bartolo Colon batting.
As usual, we should keep Mets fans in our thoughts because of the difficult and adventurous things that come with cheering for their beloved team. Unfortunately for them, none of those experiences involve watching good baseball on the field.
