The 2013-14 NFL regular season was confusing to those who watched the Miami Dolphins and their up-and-down performance, but it turns out that even the players on the team’s roster were unsure of what was going on.

Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace, who spent his first season with the team in 2013 after signing a big money free agent contract, admitted that he didn’t seem to know what was going on in the scheme of offensive coordinator Mike Sherman.
There is some good news, however, with Wallace saying that he feels a lot better with the new offense that Bill Lazor is installing for the team this season.
“I didn’t feel like I knew what was going on [last year],” Wallace said, via the Palm Beach Post. “It’s still new, just because it’s a new offense, but at the same time I feel a lot more comfortable.”
Wallace also admitted that he has been spending a lot more time working with quarterback Ryan Tannehill in the offseason, so we could see more chemistry between the two when they take the field this year.
If that increased chemistry can turn into increased production, then there is no reason to believe Wallace will not be able to bounce back from the worst season of his career.
