LEGOs are awesome. Everyone knows that. I know I spent a lot of time playing with them when I was a kid, and I imagine nearly everybody played with them at least once or twice as they were growing up.

They’re a time-tested toy that are still quite popular with kids today.

More from Anaheim Ducks

While they started out just a different colored bricks, they also have sets that can build almost anything, from Star Wars ships to castles and dragons and even sports stadiums and players.

The guys at OYO Sports Toys still love LEGOs, and so they put together a pretty cool reenactment of the second round of the NHL Playoffs using the toys.

Look at how realistic the LEGO figurines look. It’s pretty crazy how detailed they can make them to include things like the player’s facial hair.

My favorite scene they replayed was the squirt of water the Boston Bruins’ Shawn Thornton gave the Montreal Canadiens’ P.K. Subban as Subban skated by Thornton on the bench. In real life it was a childish move by Thornton, and maybe that’s why it looks so good when it’s reenacted with toys.

They’ve also got Teemu Selanne’s send off as he played his last game during the Anaheim Ducks’ loss to the Los Angeles Kings.

This was a pretty cool idea and it worked really well. I, for one, certainly hope that the guys at OYO decide to put together another video for the remaining rounds of the NHL Playoffs.
