With a win, the Rangers will punch their ticket to the Stanley Cup Finals while the Canadiens need a win to avoid elimination.
Montreal gained some momentum with their backs against the wall earlier this week, so they are hoping to keep the momentum rolling as they look to force a Game 7.
“(Tuesday) night was probably the best game we’ve played in this series,” Canadiens forward Lars Eller said, via ESPN.com. “If we keep doing a lot of those things, I think the end result will be good.”
We will have to wait and see if that momentum continues to stay in their corner.
